Award-winning South African gospel artist Khaya Mthethwa has released his highly anticipated EP, Art & Worship II, a worship project inspired by the theme “The Encounter,” inviting listeners into a personal experience with the presence, goodness, and faithfulness of God.
The 3-song EP blends heartfelt worship, reflection, and collaboration, featuring powerful gospel ministers. The project carries a sound rooted in authenticity, intimacy, and spiritual expression, designed to translate lived moments of worship into music that resonates in both personal and corporate settings.
“This project is about encounter,” says Khaya Mthethwa. “It’s about slowing down long enough to truly experience God and allowing worship to become personal again.”

Leading up to the recording of the EP, Khaya Mthethwa engaged with worship teams and creatives through a series of Art & Worship II workshops in Soweto and the East Rand. These gatherings formed part of the broader creative
process, bringing together church communities, musicians, and emerging talent in preparation for the journey of the project.
Audiences can expect single drops, music videos, and community-driven worship moments designed to deepen engagement with the project.
Art & Worship II is available on all major streaming platforms!
