On Saturday, July 12th, Johannesburg was treated to an event that was less of a gathering and more of a grand celebration of style, sound, and sensational taste.
The Stella Artois Soirée: Tennis Edition turned James & Ethel Gray Park into a Wimbledon-themed wonderland, giving guests an immersive taste of Centre Court with a distinctly South African flair.
From the moment guests arrived, they were transported into a chic, tennis-inspired playground. With crisp whites, strawberries and cream accents, and immersive nods to the Wimbledon aesthetic, it was clear this was not just an event. It was a moment.
And Joburg showed up. In true fashion capital style, guests embraced the brief with effortless flair. From tennis skirts to tailored whites and elevated athleisure, the crowd looked like they’d stepped off a Stella Artois runway.

The scene was further elevated by Keneilwe Mothoa’s exclusive capsule collection. Her bold, tennis-inspired range blended sport and style in ways only she can. Her pieces, scattered like fashion statements across the park, became a focal point for self-expression.

As golden hour gave way to dusk, the music took center stage and truly delivered. Lloyiso opened the musical journey with his signature soul, followed by the ever-mesmerising Ami Faku, the smooth and magnetic Manana, and the always-electric Lamiez Holworthy who kept energy levels high.

Azana’s enchanting set was already a standout, until fan-favourite Big Zulu made a surprise appearance that sent the crowd into a frenzy. Just when it seemed the night had reached its peak, Shekhinah took to the stage for an unannounced performance that sealed the night with sonic brilliance.
Adding to the magic was the “Food I Love You” pairing experience, a curated culinary moment where gourmet bites met perfectly poured Stella Artois. Guests raved about the food and beverage fusion, a testament to the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship.
More than just a Saturday out, the Stella Artois Soirée reminded us that the brand isn’t just about beer. It’s about elevated living. About slowing down, dressing up, and indulging in moments worth more.
And on this particular July afternoon, Stella delivered the perfect serve — one we won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
