South Africa’s leading medical aesthetic clinics, Skin Renewal, is celebrating 20 years in the medical skincare industry. The company was launched in July 2005, by Dr. Maureen Allem and Victor Snyders, and the future looks brighter.
Speaking this week to the media at their Waterfall branch, Snyders said, ‘’we have now opened 27 clinics, we had to know when to hold them and when to close them. We have so many lessons from bad decisions. We have 250 staff members and 26 full time doctors, we still continue to grow as the opportunities present themselves.’’
The celebratory luncheon was attended by legendary broadcaster Leanne Manas and award winning actor Masasa Mbangeni.
Manas described her journey with Skin Renewal as a ‘’fantastic journey’’ since she started using their services.
‘’I have never felt better. I was just going through a lot at work and in life, and I was just about to turn 50. It has been lovely,’’ said Manas.
Masasa Mbangeni started using Skin Renewal’s services 2 years ago when her skin was inflamed.
‘’What was happening internally was reflecting physically, my joints were sore, I had gained so much weight, and they have certainly been a wonderful partner to walk this journey of self-awareness and healing with,’’ said the 2021 SAFTA Golden Horn winner for best supporting actress.
According to Skin Renewal’s PR and Marketing officer Cathy Heaton, clients must have a doctor’s consultation first before any treatment. ‘’the reason is that we need to ensure they receive the correct treatment, and we treat all skin types.’’
Skin Renewal Waterfall Aesthetic Clinic is in the Courtyard Hotel, next to the Mall of Africa, in Waterfall City Precinct, Midrand.
